Quick answers to help you get the most out of the Hub.
The Risk Resilience Hub is an initiative by the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) that brings together data, research, and community voices to help Caribbean countries better prepare for and respond to natural, economic, and social shocks. It’s a space where policymakers, civil society, and citizens can access timely information and practical tools to build a more resilient region.
CDRFI refers to financial strategies and instruments that help countries, communities, and individuals manage the financial impacts of climate-related disasters. This includes insurance schemes, contingency funds, risk transfer mechanisms, and other financial tools designed to build resilience against climate shocks.
The Hub is designed for Caribbean civil society organizations, community groups, policymakers, researchers, and anyone interested in understanding and implementing climate resilience strategies. Resources are tailored for various levels of expertise, from grassroots organizations to national decision-makers.
All resources in our library are freely accessible. Simply use the search function or browse by category. You can download PDFs, watch videos, and access toolkits directly from the platform. Some materials may require a free account for tracking and updates.
MAPS (Multidimensional Approach to Poverty and Sustainability) signatories commit to advocating for comprehensive approaches to sustainable development in the Caribbean. Signatories join a network of organizations working to influence regional and international policy on climate finance, debt sustainability, and social resilience.
CPDC works through capacity building workshops, policy advocacy, research and analysis, and by creating accessible resources like this Hub. We engage directly with communities, facilitate knowledge exchange, and amplify civil society voices in regional and international climate finance discussions.
High levels of national debt can limit a country’s ability to invest in climate protection, infrastructure, and social programs. Understanding debt and managing it sustainably is a key part of building resilience.
The Hub collaborates with regional and international partners including civil society organizations, research institutions, and development agencies. Each partner contributes unique resources, data, or expertise to strengthen Caribbean resilience.
